goa in pictures


the neighborhood:

cow photo shoot. a truly lovely subject, but the real effect can't be understood unless you hear and smell the belches.

schoolkids joking around. the boy on the right was really playful and innocent, laughing and having fun. an older 'father' figure picked him up moments later and slapped him on the mouth for no reason and sped away.

street dogs are everywhere in india.

this ship broke down in the arabian sea south of where i stay about 8 years ago, and has been sitting about 100 yds offshore ever since.

this town once rivaled lisbon as these churches were built in the 1600s. now its quiet, but hauntingly beautiful.
